Purpose This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) defines the rules, responsibilities, conduct, and service standards for babysitters associated with 2080 Home Care . The objective is to ensure: Child safety and well-being Professional behavior Timely and reliable service Hygiene and discipline Trust between families and babysitters 2. Scope This SOP applies to: Part-time babysitters Full-time babysitters Live-in babysitters Temporary childcare providers Newborn care assistants Nanny services registered with 2080 Home Care 3. Babysitter Eligibility Requirements Every babysitter must: Be medically fit for childcare duties Submit valid ID proof and address proof Provide recent photograph Undergo background verification wherever applicable Have basic understanding of childcare and hygiene Be polite, patient, and child-friendly Maintain professional conduct with clients 4. Reporting & Duty Timings Babysitters must: Report on time as per agreed schedule Inform client and company in advance in case of delay or emergency Not leave duty without informing the client Follow shift timings strictly For live-in babysitters: Respect household rules Maintain discipline and privacy within client premises 5. Duties and Responsibilities A. Child Supervision Babysitter shall: Continuously supervise the child Ensure child safety at all times Never leave young children unattended Prevent unsafe activities or environments B. Feeding Assistance Babysitter may: Feed the child as instructed by parents Prepare simple baby food if agreed Sterilize feeding bottles where required Follow dietary instructions strictly Babysitter must NOT: Give medicine or food without parental instruction Feed outside food without permission C. Hygiene & Cleanliness Babysitter shall: Maintain personal hygiene Wash hands before handling the child Keep baby utensils and toys clean Assist in diaper changing and bathing if assigned D. Safety Guidelines Babysitters must: Keep dangerous objects away from children Avoid negligence or careless handling Immediately inform parents in case of injury, illness, or emergency Know emergency contact numbers Babysitters must NOT: Physically punish children Shout aggressively at children Consume alcohol, tobacco, or drugs during duty Invite outsiders into client premises Share client information publicly 7. Emergency Handling Procedure In emergencies: Stay calm Inform parents immediately Contact emergency medical support if necessary Inform 2080 Home Care support team Follow parental instructions carefully 8. Professional Conduct Babysitters are expected to: Maintain respectful behavior Wear clean and decent clothing Avoid arguments with family members Maintain confidentiality of client information Respect religious, cultural, and household practices 9. Mobile Phone Usage Policy Personal mobile use should be minimal during duty hours Babysitters should remain attentive to the child Excessive social media or video usage during work is prohibited 10. Attendance & Leave Policy Babysitters must: Inform clients in advance regarding leave Avoid repeated absenteeism Coordinate replacements through 2080 Home Care wherever applicable Uninformed absence may lead to: Service suspension Removal from platform Client complaints or penalties 11. Confidentiality Policy Babysitters must keep confidential: Client address Family information Child photographs/videos Household activities Sharing client information without permission is strictly prohibited. 13. Prohibited Activities Babysitters must NOT: Misbehave with children or family members Use abusive language Engage in theft or misconduct Sleep during active childcare hours (unless permitted) Record videos/photos without consent Bring unauthorized visitors Violation may result in immediate termination and legal action. 14. Health & Hygiene Standards Babysitters should: Maintain clean uniforms/clothing Inform clients if unwell Avoid attending duty with contagious illness Follow hygiene practices while handling infants 15. Service Limitations 2080 Home Care acts as a service platform connecting clients with babysitters.Parents/guardians are advised to: Personally verify suitability of the babysitter Monitor childcare arrangements regularly Verify credentials independently wherever necessary Final supervision and childcare decisions remain the responsibility of the client/family. 16. Complaint Resolution Clients may report: Misconduct Negligence Safety concerns Attendance issues Complaints will be reviewed internally and appropriate action may be taken including warning, suspension, or removal. 17. Termination of Service Services may be discontinued in cases of: Misconduct Safety violations Repeated absenteeism Breach of client trust Violation of SOP policies 18. Acknowledgement All babysitters associated with 2080 Home Care are expected to read, understand, and comply with this SOP before accepting assignments.
